We don't publish reviews we don't have. A lot of contractor websites fill this space with made-up testimonials, names, star ratings, quotes from people who never existed. We won't do that. When real customers leave real feedback about real work, it goes here. Until then, this page says so.

A page full of five-star quotes looks impressive until you ask one question: who wrote them? Across the home-services industry, fake reviews are common, written by the company, bought in bulk, or copied from stock templates. They work because most people don't check. We think that's a bad foundation for a company whose whole job is foundations.

An empty page with an honest explanation tells you more about us than ten invented testimonials would. It tells you we won't invent things to win your business, about reviews, about prices, about anything. That habit carries into the work itself: we diagnose what's actually there instead of selling you what isn't.

When customer feedback comes in, each review on this page will show:

• The customer's first name and town, with their permission, so you know it's a real neighbor
• The service we performed, interior drainage, sump pump, crack repair, and so on
• The date of the job, so you can see the feedback is current
• Their words, unedited, good or bad, as they wrote them

The format will look like this (this is a template, not a real review):

[First name], [Town], [Service performed], [Month Year]
"[Customer's own words appear here, exactly as they wrote them.]"

No star graphics we drew ourselves, no "verified" badges we invented. Just real words from real jobs, in the open.

A review only goes up with the customer's explicit permission, and they can ask us to take it down at any time. Their words stay theirs.

• Never write our own reviews. Not under fake names, not "on behalf of" customers.
• Never pay for reviews. No discounts-for-five-stars, no gift cards for good words.
• Never hide bad ones. If a customer wasn't happy and we fixed it, the review stays up with the fix noted. A perfect record with no details is less believable than an honest one.
• Never cherry-pick. When reviews start coming in, they all go up, not just the glowing ones.

As jobs are completed, we ask customers two things:

No reviews doesn't mean no way to check us out. Here's what you can do today:

• Call (330) 555-0147 and ask questions. A company that knows its work answers straight. One that doesn't, dodges.
• Read our About page, including the section on what we won't claim.
• Ask for the plan in writing. Any job we quote comes with a written scope before work starts. Compare that to anyone else you're considering.
